Hey, I'm Charles Glasser founder of REAL BALANCE GOLF, I have a handicap of 0 and my average drive is around 307 yards. I also competed in the optimist international golf championships which consisted of only a few elite golfers under 18 years old from 33 countries around the world. When I was younger I noticed that the 1 common thing in all Tour pros golf swings is that they all have very good balance. Their never on their toes and very rarely fall out of form in the follow through. I was very curious to see if I was on my toes because at the time I wasn’t hitting the ball particularly well. So I immediately went to the range and video taped my golf swing. Sure enough I was so high up on my toes it looked as if I were trying to jump off the ground. The funny thing was until I viewed the swing video I had no idea I was so high off the ground, in fact I didn’t even think I was off the ground at all. Thats when it became apparent to me that the real difference between my swing and a pros swing was not my swing plane, my swing plane was great and every pros swing plane is a little different anyways. It was actually my balance. So I started brainstorming ideas of how to fix my balance and the platform was by far my best. I started to do some basic exercises on it. The next day I went to the range and was completely amazed. I was hitting the ball further and at the same time I felt as if I had a ton of control. Within 1 month my average dropped from 130 all the way down to 98. Another couple of weeks went by and and I stopped improving. My average score stayed up around 98. Everyone told me that my improvement was plateauing and I agreed. I went back to the drawing board and it immediately came to me that I needed to come up with better exercises. So I started experimenting with different exercises and came up with 9 that I truly thought would drastically improve my power and balance. I began performing these exercises for a few days and then put them to the test on the golf course. “YES” it was a success I broke 85 for the first time. I NOW call these 9 exercises the Massive distance gainers because they truly are. That summer my average drive went from 225 to 270 an increased of 45 yards. Hitting the ball like this made the game much easier for me. On the average 400 yard par 4 instead of being 175 yards out and in the rough I was 130 yards out and in the middle of the fairway. Ive continued to do these exercises and my statistics just keep on getting better and better.
